Summer Program
Most Toronto Montessori schools shut their doors at the end of June. We stay open through the summer, which matters a great deal if both parents work — and it lets a child settle in before September rather than after.
Open to current families and to children joining us for the summer
What happens here
We do not close in July and August. The classroom stays open, the pace slackens, and a great deal more of the day happens outdoors.
The same room, the same teachers
Summer is not a different programme in a different building. Children work with the materials they know, with the adults they know, in the classroom they know.
Outdoors, most of the day
The downtown parks near the school become the classroom: walking, gardening, water work, picnics and outdoor science.
A gentle way to start
Families joining us in September often start in July or August. Arriving into a quieter room with fewer children is far easier on a two-year-old than arriving on the first day of term.
Weekly or monthly
Book the full summer or a single week, subject to space. Summer places are offered to enrolled families first.

Casa Preschool
The first year in a Montessori classroom. Children learn to move carefully, concentrate deeply, and take part in a community larger than their family.
3.8 – 6 yearsJunior & Senior Kindergarten
The years the earlier work pays off. Children move from sounding out words to reading fluently, and from counting to four-digit arithmetic.
Grades 1 – 4Lower Elementary
The reasoning years. Children stop asking what something is and start asking why, and the curriculum is built to meet exactly that.
Be first through the door
We are moving to one new downtown location for the 2026-27 school year. Call us or send a note now and you will be among the first families offered a tour when the doors open.
