What is changing, and what is not
Two buildings become one
For years the school ran from two downtown addresses: the main school on
Richmond Street West, and a smaller preschool site on Bathurst Street
that had been licensed since 2005. We have now moved out of both.
The new location brings everything together. One building, one office,
one front door, and the full age range from 28 months through to Grade 4
taught under the same roof. There will be no separate preschool site —
the Casa preschool programme continues exactly as it is, it simply moves
in with everyone else.
What is not changing: the same family running the school, the same
teachers, the same Montessori programme, the same French and Spanish
every day, and the same accreditation and licensing. We are staying
downtown, and we are staying walkable — the parks, libraries and
galleries that have always been part of the curriculum are part of what
we are looking for in the new space.
When you will know the address
As soon as we do. The address goes on this page, and we will write to
every family and every enquiry on our list the same day. If you would
like to be on that list, send us a note — that is all it takes.
In the meantime
Admissions are open and running normally. You can apply, join the
waiting list and ask anything you would ordinarily ask on a tour. Tours
themselves resume when the new building opens, and families already on
the list are offered the first ones.
